Fundraising

How do I let people know about my fundraiser?

add remove

By sharing the link to your fundraising page. On our fundraising platform you will find promotional materials, sample emails and a unique QR code to share your fundraiser on social media. Tip: The more personal your motivation, the greater your chance is that people will support your effort with a donation.

I want to share my fundraiser on social media. How do I do that?

add remove

When you are logged into your account, you will find the link to your fundraising page in your personal dashboard so you can directly share it on your social media channels.

Why does my fundraising page closes after a certain date?

add remove

Every year, thousands of fundraisers join #teamArtsenzonderGrenzen. To give the most recent fundraisers the attention they deserve, we close older fundraisers. Additionally, we have learned from experience that most fundraisers remain active for about three months. For example, with events, we see that a fundraiser shows hardly any activity after 30 days.

Your fundraising page will therefore be archived after 3 months of inactivity. You will receive an email about this two weeks in advance, allowing you to indicate if your page needs to stay active. Has your page been archived, but that was not your intention? We can reverse this for you if you send us an email at kominactie@artsenzondergrenzen.nl

What should I do if I reach my target before the fundraiser ends?

add remove

That’s great! We recommend raising your target amount. Log in, go to the dashboard of your fundraising page, and click on 'Edit page'. It is not mandatory, but we highly recommend it. Experience shows that it boosts the final total of fundraisers!

What should I do if I do not reach my fundraising target?

add remove
We appreciate all the help. A target amount is meant as motivation, not an obligation. If your fundraiser is still running, there is still time. We advise you to send another reminder to friends and family, share your fundraiser on social media once more, and give your supporters an update on how the fundraiser or preparations are going, asking them to help you by sharing your fundraisers with their friends. Thank you for being a part of #teamArtsenzonderGrenzen.

Where can I find fundraising materials such as images, logo's and video's?

add remove
Videos can be found on our YouTube channel. We also have several useful images and logo's for you that you can share via social media. You can find these on the campaign materials page, as well as in the dashboard of your own fundraising page.

Fundraise with a QR code. How does that work?

add remove
Log in to your account:

  • go to: 'Ask for donations' in your dashboard;
  • click on: QR code. Download the QR code;
  • use the QR code on posters or flyers that you want to distribute in visible places, for example at your gym, workplace, or club;
  • save the QR code on your phone as well if needed, so you can show it to people so they can scan it directly from your phone.

QR codes are especially useful to use if you want to promote your fundraiser offline (via posters and flyers) so people can scan them with their mobile phones. Are you sharing the fundraiser online? Then be sure to share the unique link to your personal page. That way, people can easily click on it.

Can I change my fundraising target?

add remove
Yes, you can adjust your target amount at any time. Reached your goal? Challenge yourself further by raising your target amount. Log in and go to your dashboard. You can change your target amount under 'Edit page'.

Can I change the name of my fundraising page?

add remove
Yes, you can easily adjust the name of your fundraising page. Log in and go to your dashboard. Click on 'Edit page' to change the name.

Can I delete my fundraiser and profile?

add remove

Yes, you can choose when you want to end your fundraiser yourself. Log in, go to the dashboard of your personal page and click on 'Edit page'. Scroll all the way down here and select 'Close my page'. Your fundraiser is now invisible and officially closed.

Can I fundraise with a team?

add remove
Yes, of course! Not only fun, but smart too. Fundraise as a team helps with motivation, spreading the word about the fundraiser and raising more donations.

When registering a fundraiser, a fundraising initiator can choose to set up a team. This person needs to choose a team name and will be the primary contact person—or team captain—for the team. The captain can edit the page, invite people, and monitor donations made to the team. The captain can invite people to join the team.

How to start a fundraiser with my company?

add remove
How wonderful that your company wants to start a fundraiser! On this site, you can easily create a (team) fundraising page to raise money together for people in need.

What your fundraiser looks like is up to you. And there are many possibilities! For example, as a company, you can participate in the Dam tot Damloop, in which #TeamArtsenzonderGrenzen takes part every year. Or you can raise money for us during a company outing. Perhaps you also organize a sports event or charity gala from time to time where you would like to support Artsen zonder Grenzen.

Would you like to get in touch with someone to discuss your company's ideas? Then contact us via relatiemanagement@artsenzondergrenzen.nl.

Can I make an anonymous donation?

add remove

Yes, you can. When donating to a fundraising page, after entering the amount, you can choose for 'I am making an anonymous donation'. The amount will be attributed to the fundraiser's personal page under the name 'Anonymous'.

add remove

€0,50 is added to my donation amount. Why is that?

add remove

There are costs associated with our fundraising platform, such as hosting and transaction fees. If everyone contributes an extra €0.50, we can offset the platform costs as much as possible. Contributing to the transaction fees is, of course, optional.

Donate via iDEAL | Wero does not work.

add remove

That is frustrating. Check whether your bank might be experiencing an outage and try again later. No outage? Contact our team quickly at kominactie@artsenzondergrenzen.nl.

What payment methods are available?

add remove

Through this site, visitors can pay via iDEAL/Wero, as well as Credit Card (Mastercard and Visa), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
