Where needed most
Our teams provide emergency medical care to the people who need it most. During war and conflict, after natural disasters, and throughout disease outbreaks. Even when healthcare has collapsed or people have nowhere else to turn.
We help everyone. Who you are, where you come from, or which side of a conflict you are on does not matter to us.
Three principles are central to our work: independent, impartial, and neutral. We decide for ourselves where and when to provide aid, assist anyone in need, and do not take sides in conflicts. This allows our teams to do what is necessary: help people.
Impact is made together

By starting a fundraiser, for example. By running a marathon, turning your birthday into a fundraiser, or coming up with a baking challenge and asking your friends and family to join in.

Medical care where needed most:
War & conflict
Where war breaks out, medical aid is urgently needed. For example in Gaza and Ukraine, where our teams provide medical care to people who are injured, sick, or have lost access to healthcare. We treat patients, support hospitals, and ensure medical care continues.
We stay. Even when the danger is high.
Natural disasters
After a disaster, everything can change in an instant. For example after the earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. Our teams immediately took action to provide medical care. We support local healthcare workers and help where existing care can no longer cope. Assiting in the affected areas quickly can make all the difference.
Medical aid & diseases
A disease outbreak can affect an entire community in a short time. For example during the ebola outbreak in DR Congo, where our teams go all out to stop infections and save lives. We treat patients, train local healthcare workers, and educate communities on how to prevent the spread. This way, we not only fight the disease, but also help prevent further outbreaks.
