Solo across the vulcanic mountains of Lanzarote - November 21-25..
Running solo across the mountains of Lanzarote
143 kilometers and 4,300 meters of elevation gain, running from the southernmost point to the northernmost point of Lanzarote over its volcanic mountains in five stages: it's going to be hard. My legs will hurt, and my mind will want to quit. But I also know that this is my choice, and that is a luxury.
The past years haven't been easy for me. Running has helped me stay on my feet, more than anything else. Now I want to give something back.
For people in places like Gaza and Ukraine, this is a very different story. They have it many times harder than I do, with no choice and no end in sight. Doctors Without Borders is there for them, exactly where help is needed most.
That's why I'm not running just for myself. Every kilometer and every meter of climbing is a chance to raise money for medical care for people who need it.
Will you help? Every euro counts, and I'll carry your support with me on every climb!
